Paddy Pimblett will make his pay-per-view debut for UFC tonight at Las Vegas's T-Mobile Arena against Jared Gordon. He'll face promotional veteran Jared Gordon, who has a 19-5 record.
Paddy Pimblett is undefeated in the UFC and has defeated all three of his opponents, most recently submitting Jordan Leavitt in front of a raucous London crowd in his last outing.

Thailand has a chequered history when it comes to MMA, the government banning the sport as "brutal and not boxing" in 2012 before slowly allowing promotions such as One Championship to stage events. Former wrester Hickman turned to coaching and helped to popularise MMA after arriving in Phuket in 2014. "There hadn't been any education on it. But that has changed. There are MMA events in Thailand and now Loma has been signed (to UFC) that's helped Thailand become a hotbed for MMA training," Hickman said.

Paddy Pimblett is competing in the co-main event of UFC 282. Before his battle, 11 fights are scheduled. The early prelims begin at 11 PM, and the main program, on which Pimblett is competing, starts at 1 AM on Sunday.
Ring walks for Pimblett's battle versus Gordon are expected to begin around 2:30 AM, with the fight beginning shortly after.

BT Sport 1 will live broadcast Pimblett's battle. Although the event is on pay-per-view, BT subscribers may watch it for free as part of their regular network subscription. BT Sports will also live stream on their website and app.
Paddy Pimblett said "It's just another fight, every fight is going to be the biggest fight of my career so I just take everything in my stride, this is business as usual. I always saw this in my future and knew what was coming, I said I was going to be the biggest star in the sport and none of it takes me by surprise."
Jared Gordon said "I'm super excited, the eyes are on us and I think we are the true main event right now. I'm not the most charismatic person at times but Paddy sure is, I think it's going to be a great fight. It's an opportunity that I have to seize just like everything else during my career and that's what I'm going to do."
