Jesse Lingard, a striking player of Nottingham Forest, didn’t like the way he was infrequently used by Manchester United and their false promises. Though he had a bad last year, upon his comeback, he was greeted well by his fans and ex-teammates of Manchester United at Old Trafford last night.

Marcus Rashford and David De Gea acknowledged the presence of Jesse Lingard gleefully. Rashford took to Instagram and shared a post with some heart-touching pictures of him along with Jesse.

In a post he wrote that his bond with Jesse is beyond friendship, and said that he's happy to see him. In response, Lingard appreciated his love and also thanked Old Trafford fans for a cordial farewell.

Jesse posted on social media expressing how disappointing the year was but decided to stay positive and focus on the next game ahead. On that note, he expressed gratitude towards fans as well and said that he'll always have a special place in his heart for Old Trafford.

Jesse spent his initial years of his life with books and football. Since he grew up in Manchester United, he has that homely connection with the place.
