The Norwegian Nobel Committee has announced the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2022 as one individual and two organisations jointly won it. The winners are Belarusian activist Ales Bialiatski, the Ukrainian NGO Center for Civil Liberties, and the Russian human rights organisation Memorial.

The Nobel laureates of the Peace Prize signify the civil society of everyone's home country. For several years, they have been promoting the right to protect the fundamental rights of citizens and criticising supremacy.

All the Nobel Peace Prize winners have made a significant effort to document war scenarios, the abuse of power and human rights violations.

Since the winners are from Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia, the Nobel Peace Committee seemed to send an implicit message regarding the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.
