Nigerian singer Davido's 3-year-old son drowns, police question staff

Nigerian singer-songwriter Davido's baby son of three, Ifeanyi, drowns in the swimming pool of the singer's home in Lagos as house staff are picked up for questioning. A police spokesperson said that Ifeanyi Adeleke died in the singer's swimming pool in Lagos on October 31, according to BBC report.

Perhaps overcome with grief, the couple has refused to come up with a statement. The busy parents had employed a large entourage of people in their home, but unfortunately, the three-year-old toddler found his way to the pool and drowned.

The toddler's body is currently at the morgue, and his parents have been doing the rounds of the police station.





The police have taken CCTV footage and will examine the details. They would scrutinise every footage available and speak to the staff about how this little life could have been neglected and alone.
