NHS: New dates to be announced for next round of nurses' strikes in UK
The Director of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Wales, Helen Whyley, will soon announce the next round of nurses' strikes.

Whyley emphasized that the strikes are about patient safety and ensuring that nurses know where they will reach in their careers after years of investing in their profession.
Additionally, Unite union's Richard Munn stated that ambulance workers are also planning further strikes, as they have experienced a decade of real-term pay cuts. He stated that workers need a pay increase and that a one-time payment does not solve the problem in the long term. He also said that they are open to roundtable talks with the government.
BBC Politics Wales reports that Morgan stated that pay cuts were due to austerity measures taken for a decade. A one-time payment option is just the start of a discussion to improve the long-term conditions of workers.
