COVID-19 symptoms that British health experts are cautioning against is sore throat. More than half of the people testing positive for COVID for the first time are complaining of a sore throat. Professor Lawrence Young told the media that many people still adhere to the government's guidelines about the symptoms, but these are wrong. When people contract COVID, their symptoms begin with a sore throat.

Experts also say that fever and loss of smell are infrequent symptoms now. So, many people will think they do not have COVID since they will not show these symptoms. If they had a sore throat, they would rule it out as a cold and not get tested. This notion will be dangerous, they said.
