Netflix’s ‘The Dragon Prince’ Season Four: Has controversial time jump worked?

Season four of ‘The Dragon Prince’ on Netflix marked improvement in comparison to the show's prior three installments. So, the whole season was remarkable. Some liked it while others didn't. Many also found the approach to be refreshing.

The three protagonists eventually stopped the impending global war by thwarting Viren's (Jason Simpson) scheme. After Viren's death, Season 3 ends with a peaceful Earth (and a personal resurrection). It was finished, although with a few untied ends. The show, however, has only just begun.

Character Development

This time, the jump was necessary because the kingdom had to feel secure before the new threat could appear. After two years of peace and finding no evidence of Viren or Claudia, the characters begin to feel a false sense of security. However, the chemistry between the characters also changes throughout the two years. After just a few years in power, King Ezran is no longer as clueless as he once was.
