Netflix's latest original series, 'The Most Hated Man on the Internet', has left the viewers in horror with "vile" details. The series is a documentary that focuses on Hunter Moore, who is the founder of the revenge porn website, "Is Anyone Up?".

Moore founded the website in 2010 when there was a lack of legal mechanisms to regulate revenge porn. Moore had taken advantage of this loophole and managed to run his website for around 16 months before it was closed down. The website "Is Anyone Up" used to let people mainly upload sexually explicit images of people without their consent. They also used to tag their Facebook profiles and even share personal information like their address.

Later, a girl named Kayla Laws filed a case against Moore in 2012, which led to a full-fledged investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in this matter. Subsequently, more victims like Kayla came forward to speak against Moore's website and actions.


In 2015, Moore was found guilty of identity theft and unauthorized access to computers.

After watching the docuseries, the viewers expressed their reactions or opinions on social media. While many viewers condemned the "vile" facts pertaining to this case, several others expressed their frustration at the victim-blaming culture that existed during the period when Moore's revenge porn website was operational.
