National Treasure Edge of History: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lisette Olivera adventure series gets a premiere date on Disney+
The events of National Treasure: Edge of History occur after the film franchise, with a young core cast, also featuring appearances by Catherine Zeta-Jones, Harvey Keitel, and Justin Bartha.

Showcased at the D23 Expo in Anaheim California, the series is set after the timelines of the two National Treasure movies. The series focuses on DREAMer Jess, played by Lisette Olivera, who begins to unravel the truth about her mysterious family, and save a lost pan-American treasure.
The series will premiere with two episodes and has a star cast that includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Zuri Reed, Antonio Cipriano, Jordan Rodrigues, Jake Austin Walker, and Lyndon Smith. The first season is set to span 10 episodes, with legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirming that the show is conceptually similar to the films, but features a younger cast.
Since 2008, with Nicolas Cage’s resurgent cult-like following, talks of National Treasure 3 were doing the rounds, with the premise reportedly based on Atlantis, but nothing has ever been confirmed. What we do know is that the series will feature the return of Justin Bartha as Riley Poole and Harvey Keitel as Peter Sadusky. Nicolas Cage hasn’t confirmed if he’ll feature in the series, but getting him would certainly be a casting coup.
The expo also revealed upcoming projects from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, 20th Century Studio, and others.
