In Liverpool's stunning 7-0 victory over Manchester United, Mohamed Salah scored two goals, one of which was his 129th for the club, making him the top scorer in Liverpool's history in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old Salah surpassed Steven Gerrard (120) and Michael Owen (118) in addition to overtaking Robbie Fowler's previous record of 128 goals to become Liverpool's all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 129 goals.

The first half of the match between Liverpool and Manchester United was well-contested, with Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes both failing to convert chances for United. Cody Gakpo broke the deadlock just two minutes before halftime, putting Liverpool ahead 1-0.

However, the second half was a completely different story, with Liverpool entirely dominating the game. Within the first few minutes of the second half, Liverpool scored two goals in quick succession courtesy of Gakpo and Darwin Nunez, taking their lead to 3-0. Finally, the Egyptian striker, Mohamed Salah, was able to score a goal for himself.
