American model Chrissy Teigen has announced that she is pregnant. Teigen took to Instagram to post a photo showing off her baby bump in style. The caption on the photo read that the last few years had been an emotional ride, but she was happy to announce that happiness had filled her home and her heart again. Referring to the IVF treatment Teigen took to get pregnant, she wrote that after a billion shots on her leg, she had another child on the way.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have two other children. The elder one is a girl called Luna, aged five years old, and the second is a three-year-old boy named Miles. In 2020, Teigen tragically lost a child at 20 weeks of pregnancy. It was a boy whom they had named Jack. Talking about losing the child, John Legend said that the loss was a test they were presented with. He described the loss as a tragedy, which strengthened the couple's resilience and resolved as they were together. It strengthened their bond, and they emerged as a stronger couple and a stronger family.

Teigen, 36-year-old, wrote a lengthy social media post announcing her pregnancy. She talked about the joy that her family is feeling after the heartache a couple of years ago. She said that she had mulled announcing her pregnancy after the doctor's appointment, provided the baby was healthy. She felt nervous whenever she heard the heartbeat and refrained from revealing the secret. She added that she feels more nervous than excited after the doctor's appointment every time, but things have been good so far. She was, thus, feeling hopeful and wanted to reveal her secret to her fans. She remarked that it was hard to keep the news to herself.

After her revelation, the model's friends and fans took to social media to congratulate the American model. Lily James and Kyle Richards shared their wishes. Fans congratulated her and wrote that they were happy for her and her family and wished for good health of baby and mother.
