Miss Universe Philippines officially opens to accept aspirants' applications for pageant 2023. Check age, eligibility

The Miss Universe Philippines organiser announced on its Instagram and Facebook official page on 7 November, Monday that the application of miss universe PH applicants is open, regardless of their civil status.

The organization posted officially, "The Country's most prestigious crown can be yours. As we open the application submission process for the pageant, Miss Universe Philippines 2023, bring out your inner queen to the stage."

Eligibility for the application:

• Aspirants should be 18 to 27 years of age
• Aspirants can only be female
• They should be a Filipino citizen.
• The applications will remain open till 9 January 2023

Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Philippines organization, confirmed that the Miss Universe 2023 would be held for every female between 18-27 years; either married or a mother can participate in the competition regardless of their civil status.



Further, she added, "the organization does not want to exclude someone according to their responsibilities, marital status or motherhood. If the participant feels they can handle the job, they are welcome to the competition."

For the Miss Universe PH pageant 2022, Celeste Cortesi, a Filipino-Italian model, was crowned Miss Universe pageant last April. In New Orleans, Louisiana, she will participate in the 71st Miss Universe pageant scheduled on January 14, 2023.
