Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates, met with Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, and EIB, European Investment Banking in Luxembourg on October 26. They joined together to take further steps to tackle environmental problems and start the drive to invest together in cleaner fuels.

The representatives of European banking told the media that the business owner was here to sign a document to renew their partnership to drive the transition to cleaner fuels. Bill Gates’ visit included an entirely different meeting which led to the discussion of the increasing climate problem and how to attain a sustainable future for the world with Xavier Bettel.

In 2019, the European Union Bank and the European Commission came together with Bill Gates, the head of Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV).
