Archetypes, Meghan Markle's first show for Spotify, which deconstructs the evolution of cultural prejudices about women, premiered on Tuesday. Tennis player Serena Williams was the special guest on Markle's podcast.
The show was premiered on Spotify on Tuesday, and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle talked about women and the history behind their societal stereotypes.
Serena Williams joined Meghan Markle for the first episode. Markle promised that the series would "dissect, analyse, and disrupt the identities that aim to keep women back."
Serena Williams and Meghan Markle spoke about how they face double standards when someone labels them 'ambitious'. Dr. Laura Cray, a UC Berkeley professor and gender in the workplace expert, also joined the two ladies.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle raised questions over misinformation regarding COVID with Spotify earlier this year. There was a massive backlash due to the misinformation on vaccines in "The Joe Rogan Experience." The duo met Spotify executives and were assured that Spotify would take care of the misinformation.
