Markle, speaking at a Q&A after a screening of Netflix's "The After," shared that Archie has developed a love for photography, possibly influenced by her close friend and director Misan Harriman, known for capturing several photographs of Meghan and Prince Harry.
"Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us," she explained.
Markle elaborated on Archie's budding interest in photography, mentioning that she had purchased a camera for him. However, Archie expressed a bit of disappointment, wishing for a Leica camera similar to the one used by their close friend Misan Harriman.
Markle joked: "I said, 'You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas'."
Leica cameras can carry a substantial price, with certain models reaching £8,000. Queen Elizabeth, who shared a passion for photography, possessed her own Leica camera, often capturing moments at horse shows during her late husband Prince Philip's competitions.
As for Archie's Christmas gift from his parents, it remains a mystery. However, on a previous occasion when he was two, his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, fulfilled a unique wish, securing the special present and arranging for it to be sent to the Sussexes' residence in Montecito, California.
In an appearance on The Late Late Show, the Harry revealed: "My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker. Harry added: "So she sent us a waffle maker for Archie, so breakfast now Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix, in the waffle maker, flip it, out it comes."
