Meghan Markle announces new brand name
Markle last year introduced her brand on social media and confirmed that its name will be 'American Riviera Orchard'.Despite the excitement around it, the company failed to sell a single product. Almost a year after its launch, Markle this week announced that American Riviera Orchard has been rebranded to As Ever.
Why was the name changed?
In the Instagram video, Meghan Markle explained that the rebranding was done due to problems they faced while registering the name 'American Riviera Orchard'. This name is in reference to the high-profile locality in California where Markle and Harry stay with your children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. She has faced a lot of objections while trying to trademark the American Riviera Orchard name. Last year, an application in this regard was denied by the US Patent and Trademark Office, stating that businesses were not allowed to trademark geographic locations.
