In a Netflix docuseries, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talked about how they met and their first date at Soho House in London.

As the highly-awaited Netflix documentary on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released on December 8, people have come to know about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met.

In the series, Prince Harry revealed that the royal couple met on Instagram.

Meghan revealed that a friend set them up and admitted that she "did her homework" and scoured the Instagram feed of Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex said she was impressed by Harry's photos showing his environmentalist side and his journey to Africa.


Prince Harry said he asked Meghan to meet after they got each other's numbers.

Meghan also revealed she was initially "really intent on being single", but her mind changed after Harry came into her life as a "plot twist."

In the Netflix docuseries, Harry also stated he was determined to keep his relationship with Meghan a secret "for as long as possible." While talking about the same, Meghan said their relationship was a "guarded treasure" in the beginning.
