The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have been deeply affected by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's choice to leave the Royal Family in 2020. According to a source, the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex increased Prince William and Kate's workload, leaving them dissatisfied and with more important obligations.

The source expressed, "Prince William and Kate are feeling incredibly resentful towards Meghan and Harry for leaving them to pick up the work they dropped when they moved to the States. The extra workload that's been handed to them is huge." According to the source, since Meghan and Harry's departure, the couple has had to shoulder additional obligations, which has strained their marital and family life.

"At times, it can feel like they're cracking under this relentless pressure," they were quoted as saying. With less time at home together and having to spend more time apart, they feel constantly torn apart in different directions and they insist that wouldn't be happening if Harry and Meghan hadn't abandoned their royal duties," as reported by Closer magazine.


Meghan and Harry's relationship with the Royal Family has been tense since their exit. In their Netflix docuseries, the couple shared insights into their time in the Royal Family. Additionally, Harry discussed his family in his debut memoir, "Spare," where he claimed that Prince William physically attacked him, and their father, King Charles, prioritized William's interests over his own.

Furthermore, in their documentary series, Harry expressed his belief that the Royal Family purposefully leaked stories about him and Meghan to the British press.

Notably, Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to be fighting with Meghan and Harry in a bid to establish a reputation for themself in America. The Prince and Princess of Wales appear to be contemplating trademark registration in the United States.
