An official spokesperson from the fast-food chain said that they came up with the decision to shut down the restaurants so that all people could pay respect to the Queen in the way they like. The official statement on Twitter reads that in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we are closing all the outlets across the UK from midnight until 5 pm on Monday, September 19.
Similarly, the deliveries will remain suspended until 5 pm. In addition, the company also stated that operating hours might vary after this time and suggested customers check the timings before visiting any of its restaurants.
Did other fast-food chains also announce closure on Monday?
Various fast-food chains are coming up with different approaches. Domino's, for example, has informed that its stores will open at noon on September 19, after the conclusion of the funeral ceremony. The timings are one hour late than their usual time of 11 am.

Many other restaurants and retailers have already announced their closure at Queen's funeral. These restaurants and stores include Harrods, Greggs, Marks, John Lewis, Asda, Spencer, and Primark.
