The creators of Love Island posted on Instagram that the rumours of Maya Jama hosting the show's new season were true.

The creators posted a video on Instagram which showed the British presenter scrolling through her phone, sipping from a bottle, and showing off her luggage bag.
The caption for the video stated that the rumours of Maya Jama being the new Love Island host were true. Maya will be replacing Laura Whitmore, the Irish model who has been the host of Love Island since January 2020.
Laura commented on the Instagram post and said she was delighted for Maya being the next Love Island host and that she’d be fabulous in the role. Maya has previously been a presenter of BBC One’s sports comedy game show, Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer, alongside Peter Crouch and Alex Home. She’s also presented the BBC Three game show Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up.
