Mattia Binotto resigns as Ferrari’s Team Principal
The speculation finally ends as Ferrari announces Mattia Binotto will no longer assume the role of Ferrari Team Principal by the year's end. Binotto joined Ferrari in 1995 as an engine engineer and took his current role in 2019.

Ferrari claimed a one-two result with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc in Bahrain this year. However, even though the pair succeeded in the early season, Ferrari's and Leclerc's title challenges were put to rest due to driver mistakes, strategy mix-ups and unreliability. Red Bull took advantage with their relentlessness.
