Matthew Perry reveals he had dislike towards Keanu Reeves in latest memoir
Friends star Mattew Perry revealed he developed bitterness towards Keanu Reeves in his upcoming memoir, ‘Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing’.

In the upcoming book, Matthew Perry questioned why does Keanu Reeves have to live among us when creative minds like Heath Ledger and River Phoenix pass away?
As the Friends actor talked about his and Keanu Reeves’ mutual friend River Phoenix, who passed away in 1993 due to a heroin overdose at 23, Matthew Perry, 53, did not conceal his contempt for the Matrix star, 58.
In his 1988 film debut, A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, Matthew Perry collaborated with River Phoenix, who had been Keanu Reeves' long-time close friend. Perry described how he gradually became close to Phoenix while filming the movie in Chicago.
According to the report, Matthew Perry said in his latest memoir recalled River Phoenix “was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out. It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down”.
In West Hollywood, Matthew Perry said he wept after learning of Phoenix's passing. The Friends said, "I heard the screams from my home; went to bed; woke up to the news."
Remarkably, after Chris Farley's passing, Matthew Perry took another go at Keanu Reeves in the book, the outlet reported. In 1997, after Perry learned that Farley had overdosed and died at age 33, he broke into Jennifer Aniston's dressing room. Matthew Perry further described that he punched a hole in Aniston’s dressing room and at that moment Keanu Reeves was with them as well.
