Matt Hancock stung by scorpion at 'I'm a celebrity', medics called for treatment
On the set of the British reality show, "I'm a celebrity" campmate, British politician Matt Hancock was left in pain. He was yelping after a scorpion bit his finger. The medics were forced to rush into the camp and treat him.

Soon after Matt started yelping in pain, the medics ran to the camp and checked him. Matt told the medics that the scorpion's sting was more painful than a bee sting. The medics also gave a clean health bill to Matt Hancock.
Whether you take it by surprise or step on the Australian Scorpions, they are not deadly but nasty, as Associate Professor Bryan Fry shared. He mentioned in the interview the after-effects of a scorpion's sting on the human body are pretty trivial. There would be a typical localized pain and swelling on the target part. The pain will resemble the Australian bullet ants or a bee sting when the creature bits.
The scorpion is removed from the camp safeguarding the other contestants. And all viewers can see this incident on the show on ITV on Sunday night. However, black rock scorpions are common in New South Wales, where the show is filmed.
