Financial expert Martin Lewis is collaborating with LadBaby in recreating the Band Aid song ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’. The collaboration is taking place in aid of charity.

Lewis has joined Mark Hoyle and his wife Roxanne (LadBaby) to raise money for Band Aid Trust and the Trussell Trust. Mark and Roxanne have been topping the Christmas No. 1 spot for the last four years. Last year they teamed up with Ed Sheeran and Elton John.

The couple has managed to raise £1.2 million for the Trussell Trust through their number-one Christmas songs and brand partnerships. This year they chose to work with Martin Lewis because they needed an ‘icon’. They will be the first act allowed to recreate ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’. It is going to be titled ‘Food Aid’. The track will be released on Friday, December 16.




Posting on Facebook, Lewis said that he was astonished at first when Mark and Roxanne reached out to him for the collaboration. He thought that they have mistaken him for someone else.

He further mentioned that the year has been rough for people as the prices have skyrocketed. So, the need to help and support people is of utmost importance. He is hopeful that track will help them collect money and, in turn, help people.
