Earlier this week, while Manchester City was away playing against Everton, the home of Jack Grealish fell victim to a burglary. Fortunately, Pep Guardiola, his coach, confirmed on Friday that none of Grealish's family members were harmed during the incident.

Reports from British media indicated that burglars targeted Grealish's residence in Cheshire on Wednesday, at a time when his fiancee and family were present. Valuables, including jewelry and watches estimated to be worth one million pounds ($1.27 million), were reported stolen.

Guardiola addressed the situation, stating, "Fortunately, nothing wrong happened where the family was inside." He acknowledged the challenges of the modern day and the unfortunate event that transpired, emphasizing that the well-being of the people inside the house remained unharmed.

Following the incident, an alarm was triggered, prompting an emergency response that included a helicopter, police dogs, and a team of officers dispatched to the property near Knutsford. However, no suspects were apprehended.

Jack Grealish, who was signed by City in 2021 from Aston Villa for a then-Premier League record of £100 million, is expected to be available for the upcoming home game against Sheffield United on Saturday.
