"It's a miracle": Madonna on her tour post hospitalisation
After a recent hospitalisation due to a severe bacterial infection, the iconic Madonna is back in the spotlight, embarking on her highly anticipated Celebration Tour. In a recent show at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, the 65-year-old pop sensation shared her thoughts and emotions on her remarkable journey.

"Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it," Madonna revealed during her performance. Her resilience and recovery are nothing short of a miracle.

In a touching tribute to her late mother, who succumbed to breast cancer in 1963, Madonna mentioned, "So, it's a miracle that I'm here right now. My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me -- she said, 'Girl, it's not your time to go.'"

Madonna revealed that she recently had a "strange thought" about her mother. "I suddenly had sympathy and empathy for my mother, not about the dying part, but how lonely she must have felt laying in a hospital, knowing that she wasn't going to live, and I was given another chance," she said. "So I'm very grateful for that."

Despite not feeling her absolute best at present, Madonna expressed her gratitude for her vitality, stating, "I must tell you, I don't feel really well right now, but I can't complain 'cause I'm alive." She also extended her appreciation to her children and fans for their unwavering love and support.

The Celebration Tour, which commenced on October 14 at The O2 Arena in London, has already witnessed six awe-inspiring shows out of the planned 78. During one of her initial performances in the United Kingdom, Madonna reflected on what she termed a "crazy year" and her previous hospitalisation.

Her enduring motivation? Her children. Madonna shared, "If you want to know my secret and you want to know how I pulled through and survived, I thought, I have to be there for my children. I have to survive for them." It's a powerful declaration of a mother's love and resilience that resonates deeply.
