Lucy Spraggan in tears on 'This Morning' as X Factor contestant delivers emotional performance

Lucy Spraggan delivered an emotional performance on "This Morning". The English musician, who rose to prominence after appearing on The X Factor, performed her latest single on Wednesday and was moved to tears.

The 31-year-old musician was one of the most sensational contestants ever on the ITV talent show and blew away the judges as well as the audience with her original songs. However, she left everyone shocked after she decided to quit the competition without giving much info as to why she did so.

Lucy appeared on "This Morning" on Wednesday along with Simon Cowell, the head of X Factor. Talking about the song, Lucy said her therapist was the first to hear it. In fact, she claimed she was inspired to write the song after a conversation she had with her therapist during a session. It was the therapist who convinced Lucy that it was all right to seek help at times.



Simon further added that the lyrics of Balance were hugely relevant in the world today, after which Lucy performed the song live. After she ended the song, Lucy found herself choking with tears on the final line. Viewers loved the performance and showered love on the musician online. Some tweeted that they related to the lyrics of the song, while many said the song would be on their motivation playlist.

Lucy released the song on her YouTube channel a week ago, and it has been viewed over 42,000 times at the time of writing this article. As far as the mystery around her decision to suddenly quit X Factor, the musician said she would be talking about it in her upcoming memoir, Process, which is due for release in July 2023.
