TV personality Lucy Mecklenburgh's fiancé former English actor Ryan Thomas was captured having a fond moment with EastEnders actor Zaraah Abrahams post National Television Award show.

In an intimate moment, he buries his face in the actress' neck in a photo published by the paparazzi. Witnesses said it was a "lovely hug" as Ryan wrapped his arms around the actress. Due to their long-term friendship, sources close to the pair denied any questionable rumours.

The couple have two children together, and he is currently engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh. He played Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street from 2000–2016. Before joining EastEnders as Chelsea Fox in 2005, Zaraah played Corrie's Joanne Jackson for two years.


Emmerdale won the Best Serial Drama award earlier in the evening, beating both soaps. In a statement to a leading daily, Zaraah's spokesperson said Zaraah and Ryan had been friends for more than 20 years and were catching up since they hadn't seen each other for quite some time. There's nothing more to it.



Ryan's representative has been contacted for comment. The couple experienced a problematic month after their son was rushed to the hospital and kept there for 24 hours.

The child has been suffering severe health issues since his terrified mother found him blue in his cot a year ago. Last week, Ryan shared a black-and-white picture of the youngster in an A&E cot while they stayed there overnight.

The concerned father revealed how they have unfortunately been in this situation many times. This time they spent 24 hours in a hospital away from home. Still, they wanted to express gratitude to all the hospital staff and doctors in The Cumberland Infirmary for their hard work and dedication.
