Love Island actor Ekin Sue Culculoglu's comments about singer Alfie Boe go viral. Here's what she said

Davide Saclimenti, who happens to be from Italy but has settled in the UK, was in for a surprise when his his partner, Ekin Sue, on the British reality show "Love Island", didn’t know who Alfie Boe was. Sue referred to the singer, who serenaded her and her boyfriend Davide, in a private performance in Mallorca as "some guy." Alfie Boe took to Twitter and introduced himself, which fans took note of and started pulling her leg about her total lack of classical music knowledge.

The couple had a traditional candlelight dinner in an amphitheatre replete with candles for a typical romantic setting. The meal was sumptuous too, and so was the performance of Alfie Boe. He flew down to Mallorca for this beautiful evening and was perhaps a catalyst in the agreement of this wonderful couple, who decided to make it official.

Alfie Boe or Alfred Giovanni Roncalli Boe is an English tenor and actor, who has sung at numerous musical theatres in the UK. He has more than a million albums to his credit.


Despite Ekin Sue’s lack of knowledge of classical music, she must be thrilled now that she and her boyfriend were both serenaded by this tremendously gifted singer. She had mentioned during her opening stint on Love Island that she was looking for someone with more brains than just looks, and in Davide, she happened to get just that. Love Island fans wished the best for them, and some even said they love Ekin Sue more for her honesty about not knowing who Alfie Boe was.
