The Peckham incident was preceded by stabbing incidents at Romford, Bexleyheath, Homerton, and Twickenham. All the incidents took place within 24 hours, putting a big question mark on London’s law and order situation.
A man in his 20s from Romford was chased through East London near the Romford Railway Station, after which he sustained severe knife wounds. He was also rushed to the hospital on Friday night. Earlier in the day, a man from Twickenham was admitted to a hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by two men.
Likewise, a Homerton man was stabbed in the shoulder on Friday outside the East London Overground station. Police were called in around 6 pm, and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. A similar incident took place in the morning hours of Friday, when a man was found stabbed in Bexleyheath.
