London Marathon: Jade Goody's intoxicated training and tragedy that struck Katie Price
While most celebrities manage to cross the finish line and raise thousands of pounds for charity, not all public figures are quite so successful with their efforts.

After being injured and unable to run the London Marathon the previous year, former The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Mark Wright will join other runners this year, such as McFly drummer Harry Judd, actor Stephen Mangan, and former Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark.
Many runners change their habits in preparation for the London Marathon to incorporate demanding regimens, strict diets, and total abstinence from alcohol. However, Big Brother legend Jade Goody took a different strategy.
The mother-of-two grew bored preparing for the London Marathon and only finished four workouts before the big day, failing to complete the 26.2-mile race.
A spokesman later said there was no trace of the mother-of-two after she passed the 18.5-mile (30-km) mark in 4 hours and 37 minutes.
Despite being listed as incapacitated owing to a foot ailment, 44-year-old Katie Price has done not one but two London Marathons. She hopes to rerun next year.
In 2009, Katie finished the race for the first time in just over seven hours.
