London Fashion Week FW23: Everything you need to know

Once again, London Fashion Week is among us, and we're here to let you know what to watch out for during the hectic five-day schedule.

Let's stop pretending that Daniel Lee's first Burberry collection isn't the highlight of London Fashion Week right away. It is simply a reality.

With the unveiling of Burberry's new style last week, which may possibly herald the end of the Sans-Serif logo period, Lee, who took over from Ricardo Tisci in November, has already left us wanting more after the reveal of the brand’s new look.

Although it is not surprising that Burberry appears to be returning to its best British self under Lee's leadership, his first presentation on February 20 will offer us a clearer picture of his long-term goals.

Inexplicably, Moncler's highly anticipated "Art of Genius" event is concurrent with the Burberry show.



The next exhibition is planned to "give voice to a new roster of creative minds coming from all disciplines and settings, each one expressing a personal vision of the Moncler universe," where each collaborator will put their own distinctive spin on the philosophy of Moncler Genius.

A number of well-known designers will also come under the spotlight, including Ahluwalia, JW Anderson, Fashion East, 2022 LVMH Prize winner (and Harry Styles favourite), S.S. Daley, and Saul Nash, 2022 Woolmark Prize winner, who present on February 18 and 19, respectively.

There will also be opportunities for emerging labels 16Arlington, which the most recent Lyst report identified as one of the breakout brands for the fourth quarter of 2022, and dynamic Irish designer Robyn Lynch, who has been selected for the 2023 Woolmark Prize.
