The organizers at Augusta National have confirmed that LIV golfers will be allowed to participate in "The Masters" in April 2023. While they are unhappy with the recent developments, the organizers wish to respect the tradition of bringing together eminent golfers in one place. Everyone who meets the current criteria will be sent an invitation. Old champions like Johnson, Reed, Garcia, Watson, Schwartzel and Mickelson will be at The Masters in April. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

LIV golfers like Smith, DeChambeau and Koepka would qualify for the eligibility criteria as they have won a major in the last five years. Martin Slumbers, R&A Chief Executive, ruled out the possibility of banning LIV players but has reserved the right to alter the championship's eligibility criteria.
