A lighter plane crash at the Cotswold airport has caused minor injuries to three people, including the pilot.

Three people, including pilot, were injured after a lighter plane crashed atCotswold Airport in England's Gloucestershire. The pilot and two passengers suffered injuries and were shifted to a hospital. The incident occurred on Thursday, according to Wiltshire Police.
According to the police, the light aircraft ended up in a ditch beside after it had overshot the runway at Cotswold Airport. The pilot and the two passengers did not suffer any critical injuries and were shifted to the hospital only as a precaution.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch has been entrusted with investigating the crash, the police said. An inspectors' group will arrive at the A429 where the incident occurred.
On Thursday, soon after receiving the incident reports, several Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue teams rushed to the spot.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson called them to reach the incident spot. Rescue teams from Cirencester, Stratton, and Tetbury had reached the A429.
Since the light aircraft crash did not result in any casualties and the quantity of oil spills and debris was also not huge. Only one crew member from Stratton was left on the A429 to receive the Air Accident Investigation Branch that will recover the aircraft.
