King Charles III hosts lavish royal party to continue late Queen Elizabeth II's Christmas tradition
King Charles III threw a Christmas bash, a legacy of the Queen Elizabeth II and was among her favourite that he carried forward as the new monarch.

King Charles III arrived alone, driven in a car for the event in Windsor Castle. The Prince and Princess of Wales are invited for lunch with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
However, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are missing from the luncheon this time. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been at loggerheads with the functioning of "the firm", which they say is a system of lies. They have been highly critical of the other royals, especially their father, King Charles III and Prince William.
Camilla drove in separately to Windsor wearing a blue jacket and also seen driving in was Princess Anne with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. Prince Edward was also seen coming in for the party with his wife, Sophie Wessex and daughter Lady Louise Windsor.
Mike Tindall, a rugby player, married to the King’s niece Zara Tindall, revealed that he got to sit with Charles and enjoyed himself. There are about seven tables, so around 70 royals were there for lunch.
