King Charles III Christmas speech: When and how to watch
It will be the first Christmas Day speech of King Charles III and the first time a male monarch will give a televised Christmas message.

King George VI gave the last address on Christmas Day by a monarch in 1951, and it was radio transmitted. King Charles III will likely pay tribute to his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8, 2022, in this year's speech.
But at what time on Christmas Day will the speech be broadcast? Where can I view it, too?
The Christmas speech will be given on December 25 at 3 PM (local time), as is customary. Up until 3:10 PM (local time), the address would last for 10 minutes. The Christmas speech has been a pre-recorded message since the 1960s. Therefore it won't be televised live this year.
The King recorded the address this year on December 13, which has already been released. Since the late Queen's first televised Christmas message in 1957, 3 PM has always been the broadcast time.
Where will the King Charles III's address be broadcast?
There will be broadcasts of The King Charles III's Speech on BBC One, BBC Two, ITV One, and Sky One. It will be shown at 3 PM, but if you can't make it because you're too busy eating Christmas pudding for lunch, you can catch it later on BBC Iplayer and ITVX.
