Kevin Spacey heads to court five years after Anthony Rapp's sexual misconduct allegations
Kevin Spacey made an appearance in court this Thursday to defend himself against the charges filed by Anthony Rapp.

The older actor allegedly invited Rapp to his Manhattan apartment party before attempting to entice him into a room after the other attendees had left.
When the #MeToo movement took Hollywood by storm in 2007, Rapp narrated his tale of woe to Buzzfeed. Spacey said he had no recollection of such an event. However, he did note that if he had indeed behaved as Rapp claimed, he owed him a heartfelt apology for the highly inappropriate, inebriated misdemeanour.
However, Spacey's legal team asserts that the charges are false. They say Rapp wasn't even there at the party. They also insisted that it couldn't have been a sexual advance even if everything had gone just as Rapp said.
Following the jury's selection on Thursday, the trial's opening statements will be made. Rapp requests compensation for his lost salary, medical bills, and psychological and emotional trauma.
Both of them are anticipated to give testimony throughout the trial. A psychologist who thinks Anthony Rapp currently has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to the meeting with Spacey will probably be one of the other witnesses.
