Actor Kelsey Grammer is set to bring the character of Dr Frasier Crane back on screen with the revival of his superhit series "Frasier". The series, "Frasier," was originally released in 1993 and ran till 2004 on NBC. While sharing details about the hit series, Grammer said that the show has been in development for around six or seven years, and rehearsals for it would start in the month of February. He told People magazine that the show had been "on the slow burner." Grammer stated they had been planning to bring back the original cast for the show's revival.
However, John Mahoney, who had played the role of Frasier's father, Martin Crane, passed away in 2018. Besides, Grammer further noted that David Hyde Pierce, who portrayed Frasier's brother, has declined to return for the role. While explaining David's decision, Grammer stated that the actor was not "interested in repeating" the role.
