Kate Winslet's daughter Mia instructed her to 'shut up' while filming ‘I Am Ruth’

In an interview, Kate Winslet revealed that Mia Threapleton, her daughter, would often tell her to 'shut up ' while they were shooting for the show, ‘I am Ruth’ together.

‘I Am Ruth’ will see Winslet as a mother concerned for her teenage daughter. In the show, her daughter, Freya, is pressured by social media and withdraws herself from all other things.

Despite Kate being one of the biggest stars in the industry, Mia made sure that her mother gave her some space while the shoot. Talking about the show and her character, Winslet said that working with Mia was an enjoyable experience. She, however, made sure to back off at times.
