The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton took an economy flight to Balmoral, media reports have confirmed. The 40-year-old royal was accompanied by her children, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, while her husband, Prince William, traveled separately with their elder son, Prince George.

The down-to-earth duchess was seen traveling in economy class in a TikTok video doing rounds on the internet. TikTok said in the video that Kate, her two children, their nanny, and their security personnel were traveling on the same flight to Scotland.

Some netizens have hailed the move as a symbol of simplicity, as she chose economy class over a private jet or helicopter.

The young royals appeared cute as always. While adorned with the little princess a floral dress, the younger prince wore navy shorts and a blue shirt. The family was on their annual vacation to Balmoral, where the Queen spent her summertime in the Scottish Highlands. Following the vacation, the Cambridge royals are expected to move to Windsor.
