Kanye West walks off live broadcast of Tim Pool's podcast Timcast. Find out why

Rapper Kanye West left a podcast interview on Monday after being asked to clarify his antisemitic views and comments that a Jewish cabal in-charge of finance and media was unfairly harassing him.

All of this started when West, who declared his intention for running for presidency in 2024, joined Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and extreme-right white supremacist Milo Yiannopoulos on a live broadcast of Tim Pool's podcast, Timcast.

In recent weeks, Ye has regularly attacked, openly mocked and threatened Jews. Due to his recent antisemitic remarks and links with radicals, he lost significant commercial relationships with the US store Gap and the German sportswear company Adidas.


Before launching into a rambling tirade in which he claimed that Gap, Adidas, Vogue, previous presidents, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, as well as his personal trainer, were all involved in a Jewish-led plot to destroy his career, West added, "I just need to go to the heart of this antisemite claim."

However, when Pool began to challenge his assertions, West threatened to leave the show. "I feel like it’s a setup... I’m going to walk the F off the show if I’m having to talk about, ‘You can’t say Jewish people did it,’ when every sensible person knows—that Jon Stewart knows—what happened to me, and they took it too far," he said.

Later, Ye compared himself to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He said, "As I’m getting hosed down every day by the press and financially, I’m just standing there."



"When I found out they were trying to put me in jail, it was like a dog was biting my arm and I almost shed a tear. Almost. But I still walked in stride through it," he added.

Later, Pool acknowledged to West that "they have been extremely unfair," which prompted West to inquire as to whom Pool was referring to when he said, "we can't say who they are."

Pool further explained that he meant the "corporate press," at which point Fuentes intervened to support West. "What do you mean it’s not?"

West then intervened, pulled off his headphones, and stormed off in a rage.

A few hours before the Timcast interview, Pusha T, the most recent West ally, publicly denounced him. In an interview with the LA Times, he said, "As a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech."
