President Joe Biden got reportedly stuck in traffic in Central London ahead of the Queen's funeral. Biden was travelling in the official United State Presidential Car nicknamed the 'Beast' or Cadillac One. His wife Jill was accompanying him in the back of the motorcade.

The armored limousine came to a grinding halt just outside a Pret coffee shop near Marble Arch, central London, while the US President was trying to reach Queen Elizabeth II's funeral at Westminster Abbey.

Several Video clips emerged on social media showing public members waving at President Joe Biden while trying to click pictures of him as Met Police officers guarded the motorcade.


A motorbike rider from the Met Police Special Escort Group was seen racing past the President's Limousine to clear the traffic ahead.

Most dignitaries advised traveling in groups on buses to the Queen's Funeral.

Foreign heads of state and other royal dignitaries arriving for the Queen's funeral have been directed to travel in groups by bus to reach Westminster Abbey. The newly issued government guidance directs the use of buses instead of private cars.

Several Royals making a humble en masse bus trip include the King of Spain - Felipe, and Queen Letizia, King of Belgium – Philippe and Queen Mathilde, Sweden's King and Queen Carl XVI Gustaf and Silvia, and King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of Netherlands.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden arrived in London yesterday to attend the Queen's Funeral. This morning, footage emerged on social media showing the President's official ride, 'Beast', stuck in traffic in Central London near the Marble Arch.

The President was on his way to the Queen's funeral when the busy London traffic suddenly brought his motorcade to a standstill. During the Funeral service, King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, will be sitting in ornate Canada Club chairs. Next to Camilla will be Princess Royal alongside Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, next to whom will be the Duke of York, followed by the Earl and Countess of Wessex, all seated in the front row of the south lantern.

The Prince of Wales and the Princess of Wales will be seated across the aisle along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Peter Phillips, Zara, and Mike Tindall.

The Duke of Sussex will be seated directly behind King Charles, while Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will be behind Camilla and next to Princess Beatrice.

US President Joe Biden and the first lady Jill Biden will be seated 14 rows back on the south transept. They will be seated just behind the Polish leader and will be followed by the Czech Republic on the seat behind them.
