He said there is 300 strong UK contingent for a peacekeeping mission with the United Nations. The redeployment of UK troops will be completed by the end of the three years tenure. In February, French President Emmanuel Macron decided that the French-led forces in the region that were fighting jihadists would relocate to Niger from Mali. The decision reflects the concern raised in Western capitals that the military junta in Mali. And the concern grew exponentially and became notorious in alignment with the Wagner Group.
At House of Commons, James Heappey quoted that the sole responsibility for this friction resides in Bamako. In a short period of three years, two coups required peacekeeping efforts. Additionally, he said that the Wagner Group has violated human rights. In analysing this scenario, James said he feels that the nation can not afford the deployment of nation's military effectively to deliver lasting security.
