"Al Ahli Hospital was hit by a rocket of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad," stated Ambassador Gilon. "They tried to hit our children, but on the way hit their own children. It's really a pity that many around the world are cooperating with them. In our technological world, everything is documented. Ambassador Gilon emphasized that they possess "clear-cut evidence" pointing to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's responsibility for the rocket attack on the hospital.
"We have clear-cut evidence that it was a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket," reiterated Ambassador Gilon.
In response, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad refuted Israeli accusations, accusing Israel of seeking to avoid culpability for the incident, which they called a "brutal massacre." They said that they do not utilize houses of worship or public buildings, notably hospitals, as military bases or storage locations for weapons.
Furthermore, Gilon accused Hamas of committing heinous acts, emphasizing that they are trying to create international pressure to prevent the IDF from taking action. The Ambassador challenged Hamas to confront the IDF directly, stating, "Come out of the tunnels and fight us."
The hospital bomb has sparked international criticism, with US President Joe Biden voicing his indignation. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also voiced outrage at the deaths of hundreds of Palestinian civilians during the hospital strike, but did not assign blame.
The situation in Gaza City remains volatile, with competing claims and worldwide concern over the horrific events happening there. The investigation into the Al Ahli Hospital incident is still underway, and the entire world is watching.
