Thanksgiving TV Programs

NBC is the home of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, which they cover live. This coverage is a significant event in New York, and people across the country look forward to the live broadcast. Most families watch the parade and then catch a football game in the evening. It is not uncommon for some families to watch more than one football game on the Thanksgiving holiday.

Law and Order Episodes

The Law and Order franchise will not feature in the usual three-hour slot. NBC will instead be featuring an NFL football game from 8:30 pm -11 pm ET on NBC. The new episode of the show will be continued on December 8th at 8 pm ET. The episode will be the 9th in season 22.



The episode is called The System and will follow a hostage situation caused when a murder suspect escapes from custody. The escapee had been waiting for a court date for months. During the episode, Price questions his faith in the law and system, and Shaw looks at his behaviour as the arresting officer of the escaped prisoner. The episode will also be the final one for this season and will resume after a break on January 5th 2023.
