Irish man creates history as he becomes the first person in the world to row from New York City to Ireland.

According to the Irish Times, on June 14, Browne left Chelsea Piers in Manhattan and covered 3,450 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean to reach Ireland. It is reported that Browne cannot swim.
A viral video posted on Instagram shows Damian Browne boating in the Galway Bay across rough waters. Browne, 42, rowed and rowed Cushlamachree, his 20-foot craft, for more than 2,500 hours.

As he arrived, Browne received a heroic welcome from his supporters, friends and family, who were overjoyed to have him back.
While speaking about his voyage in an interview, Browne said that he could not explain the challenging conditions that he had faced. He mentioned that the North Atlantic witnesses many changes, and all the alterations he witnessed were negative.
In 2018, Browne rowed from San Sebastian, Spain to Antigua.
