Matt Hancock and his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo joined Jill Scott at a star-studded party in Australia. The Tory MP joined the party on Monday night with other campmates from I’m A Celebrity, raising questions about his complacency in getting back to work.

Hancock joined the adventure-reality show amid heavy criticism from the Labour Party and as well as the Conservatives. His decision to join the show caused him to lose his whip in the parliament as well, even though Hancock maintained that his appearing on the show would help the Conservative Party take its message to the youth.

Before joining the show, Hancock claimed that his work wouldn’t be affected much as he would remain contactable throughout the show. His close associates also suggested that the controversial Tory MP had access to a laptop during the show. However, his joining I’m A Celebrity did not go down well with his voters and colleagues, and questions about his political future continue to grow.


In the show, the former Health Secretary survived eight rounds. Hancock narrowly missed a berth in the finals and left the show in the third position after competing for three weeks straight. Eventually, Jill Scott won this year’s I’m A Celebrity after beating Hancock and Owen Warner to claim the crown.

A few hours after arriving at the JW Marriott Hotel from the jungle camp, Hancock was seen having a good time with his girlfriend and other contestants from the reality show. The couple headed to the La Luna restaurant along with Jill and Sue Clever. Among those who joined the party included Zara Tindall, Boy George, Seann Walsh, and Scarlette Douglas.
