A murderer, rapist, and paedophile, serving three life sentences in His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Edinburgh, passed away in a hospital on Saturday at 76. Detectives had long suspected Peter Tobin of killing additional victims, but the murderer resisted answering questions from police even as he lay dying.
Cathy Wilson, 52, speaking to the local media, said: "He was a monster, and it is a comfort that he is no longer alive."
Tobin's third wife, whom he supposedly first dated when she was 16 years old, told the magazine that her late ex-husband relished having power and control and treated her like a slave.
Even though she is happy that he is no longer alive, Ms. Wilson stated that everyone knows there were other casualties, and he might have made all the difference in the world to bereaved families who still don't know for sure what happened to their loved ones.
