Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie is busy shooting her next film, "Without Blood", in Italy alongside Demián Bichir and Salma Hayek. She spoke about looking at trauma and violence differently and embracing the 'Western'.

Angelina Jolie shot the adaptation at Cinecittà Studios in Rome. She said it had the same effect on her as it had on several others. She says the complexity of the human condition is highlighted in the book.
Angelina Jolie didn't understand the book when she first read it. She just knew it had a profound effect. She said that she thinks it's a piece of art that puts forward somebody's mind and intuition and has a lot of truth about how we people are.
She spoke to Variety amid the bustling and shooting where she was shooting a key scene for the movie, and a farmhouse was being set up. Ironically, the movie is called "Without Blood," but the farmhouse has so many bullets and blood. The dummy lying on the floor has bullets spewed in it and is getting the final touches. Angelina Jolie says that she has embraced the 'Western' in the movie.

In the film, Jon Hutman, the production designer who has won an Emmy, says, "We have dead bodies because we love dead bodies." Hutman has worked with Angelina Jolie in 4/5 of her films since The Tourist, where they met in 2010.
Ursula Patzak, a costume designer, says you must have multiple costumes of the same design when there are many shootouts. She adds that Jolie referenced "The Godfather" for the primary visual as it has many black and white items of clothing or costumes.
"Without Blood" has been told in a series of flashbacks and is a complex work of choices, war, and violence. The movie raises several questions that have no bad or good. The film has a lot of criminal, horrible, bad, and horrific behavior.
