On 27 August 2019, Harry Dunn, age 19, was hit by Anne Sacoolas. She was driving on the wrong side of the road when her car hit Harry's motorbike. The collision turned his motorbike into a ball of flames, and he later lost his life in the hospital.She was driving away from a US military base in Northamptonshire in her Volvo when she hit Harry Dunn.
Anne Sacoolas is a former spy for the US and was granted diplomatic immunity against attending the trial in the UK.
